An interesting study was presented at an annual meeting of the American Society of Nephrology in San Diego. This study showed that light lemonade has a negative effect on renal function. The study showed that adult women who drank at least 2 doses of light lemonade every day lost about 30% of their renal function within a decade.
Kidney damage caused by sweeteners
Artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and sucralose were identified as causing impaired renal function. They are responsible for a rapid degeneration of kidney activity in people who consume excessive quantities artificially through sweetened sweetened drinks.
In the context of this study, Dr. Julie Lin from the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and her colleague Dr. Gary Curhan investigated the correlation between the consumption of sweeteners and the kidneys. In doing so, they highlighted one of the many dangers posed by the consumption of artificial sweeteners.
A study presented by Dr. Morando Soffritti from the European Ramazzini Foundation of Oncology and Environmental Sciences and the Cesare Maltoni Cancer Research Center in 2005 already shows comparable results.
Even 30 years ago, independent scientists discovered that the consumption of aspartame leads to various diseases and ailments. Among these are cancerous tumors, lymphomas, leukemia, lesions in different organs, urothelial carcinomas, nerve damage, seizures and premature death.
Questionable studies allowed admission of aspartame
The approval of aspartame as food by the FDA was supported by questionable studies that could not be upheld by a subsequent review by the Bureau of Food Drug Authority. While the FDA’s repeated malpractice has been demonstrated, the authorities have ignored two related reports and a huge amount of counter-facts and data. These appeared only shortly after the approval of aspartame. Between 1974, the aspartame approval year, and 1990, the number of brain tumors in people over 65 increased by 67 percent.
Also the substance Sucralose, a chlorocarbon, is responsible for various serious chronic diseases and ailments. Sucralose is used to make it directly from sugar, which makes it appear harmless. Sucralose, however, causes functional disorders of the brain and the nervous system, migraine, cancer and the weakening of the immune system.
Toxic substances classified as harmless
Although the chloracarbon components of sucralose are classified as harmless, they are nevertheless proven to be toxins. People who were susceptible to the negative effects of sucralose were often already on the way to recovery after being discontinued. In addition, laboratory tests have shown that regular and long-term use of sucralose reduces the thymus gland and thus damages the biological source of the immune system.
Natural foods such as raw honey or agave nectar are clearly preferable as sweeteners. Stevia extract, a naturally occurring sweetener, also offers excellent alternatives. The distribution of this plant was however for years prevented by interested circles. Stevia does not contain sugar or calories and is therefore particularly suitable for diabetic people.
There are many alternatives to the chemically produced sweeteners aspartame, sucralose and saccharin. Nevertheless, it is very difficult to find these in processed foods. Take this as an occasion to eat only healthy and healthy food, which is as natural as possible. Your health and well-being will thank you.
